Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

When my ex and I split up I agreed to let him keep our home as I was living and working in another state. I filed a quit claim deed on the house that I owned with my now ex-husband. I am the primary borrower on the mortgage and as part of our divorce he was to refinance into his name. Instead of refinancing he is now filing bankruptcy and letting the mortgage company foreclose on the house . Is there anything I can do to get the house back and try to keep out of foreclosure ?

A motion would have to filed to enforce your rights. I would suggest that you set up an appointment with me so that we can discuss it.
