Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

Just got ticket 85 in 65, I already have one point on my license and this is the 3rd ticket that I get since I got my license, should I go to court or pay the ticket and do the class online for the points?

It is a 4 point ticket. Don't just pay it, request a Court date so that you can go to court and speak to the prosecutor. It could amended down to a 2 motor vehicle point speed or perhaps no point ticket. Why not see what you can accomplish by going to court. 85 is Definately too fast so make sure you find out what the judges policy is with respect to a speed that high. It is good that you were not clocked at 90 or higher, but make certain that you will not be facing a possible suspension of your driving privileges. Check it out and see how you make out on your own. If you encounter a problem you could always ask the Court for an adjournment to hire a lawyer. Good luck
