if i am inheriting something in a will, what are my rights as far as seeing an entire copy of the will to see when it was written?

If you are a residual heir, you should have been provided a copy of the Will when you were notified of its probate. In any event, if you call the Surrogate, and for a small fee, you can get a copy sent to you. Some Surrogates have them on their web site, so check this also.

You have a right to see the will; it must be filed in the public records at the court house.
