unfair sentencing

i committed the crime of forgery, i forged two checks which amounted to seventy-two dollars to purchase food for my kids i was arrested and was given a five-year probation sentence, this is my first offence i have never been in trouble i dont' even have a juvenile record, i was ordered by the courts to do 100 hrs community service, pay restitution,go to parenting classes and give urine test every time i go see my p.o. i must see my p.o two to three times a week.
