Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New Mexico

Do I have to wait till I'm crippled?

I was given a wrong prescription of prednisone by a Doctor. The dose was 10 times the amount it should have been. The pharmacy filled it. I now have avascular necrosis in my hips shoulder and possible in my knees. A lawer I sought for advice says I must lose weight so they have nothing to come at me with! He says we have to wait till more damage shows up to win big. The drug makers say I've taken more then has ever been taken in the history. I am very sick, is there a lawyer that will file while I still can walk?

Re: Do I have to wait till I'm crippled?

Your best bet is to contact a lawyer in your city who devotes a large share of his/her practice to medical malpractice claims. If you Email us we will provide you with several references to members of the American Trial Lawyers Association in your area.
