Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Mexico

Hi , I am being accused of running over a woman�s foot . They are claming I ran over her foot

Some time in august 2010 , they have no police report . This last month a privet investigator has been

Harassing me about this for about a month now . He said to give him my insurance info or he will file

Felony charges agents me . Do they have a case ???

A PI cannot file criminal charges. Only law enforcement or a victim may do that. Other than that no one can properly advise you because you do not disclose what evidence they may have such as eye witnesses, security cams, etc. Your best advice is to consult a criminal defense attorney. Initial consultations are done at no cost. The PI is trying to scare you into doing something you don't want to do. Do not let him/her. If they persist, file your own harassment complaint. Do not discuss this case with anyone else. Exercise your 5th Amendment right to remain silent.
