Legal Question in Intellectual Property in New York

I'm making a faux documentary about computers and the internet. The film involves somebody using a Mac computer and using different websites: Google, Facebook, etc. Can I do this without permission from these websites and software companies?

The short answer is "no". Be very careful about "product placement" issues arising from the unauthorized use of a product.
