payroll Garnish

can a credit card company such as American Express, garnish my paycheck for a debt thats over 15 years old?

If AMX has a judgment against you, the answer is yes(good for 20yrs). If they do not have a judgment and you have made no payments nor acknowledged this debt in the last 7 years, then the time it which to sue has expired.
