oshua was accepted as a freshman at a college two hundred miles from his home for the fall semester. Joshua�s rich uncle, Benjamin, decides to give Joshua a car for Christmas. In November, Benjamin makes a contract with Jefferson Buick to purchase a new car for $18,000 to be delivered to Joshua in mid- December. The title to the car is to be in Joshua�s name. Benjamin pays the full purchase price, calls Joshua and tells him about the gift, and takes off for a six-month vacation. Jefferson Buick never delivers the car to Joshua. Does Joshua have the right to sue Jefferson Buick for breaching its contract with Benjamin? Explain.
