Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York
Someone owes me $150, it's been a little over 3 years now and they keep giving me the run around saying when they have the extra $150 in their paycheck they will pay me back, which is ridiculous Bc they get paid biweekly. I have proof thru text that they acknowledged owing me the money. Can I still take them to small claims in nys(Yonkers) being that it's been 3 years

Yes, contract actions for money have 6 years to be started, either from the time it was agreed to or the last payment
