Legal Question in Technology Law in New York
I'm starting an online magazine. What are the law involved in regards to using articles from other magazine (with credit of course). I noticed Huffingtonpost.com uses several other writers from NYtimes, AP, BBC etc. Are they paying for this content?

Presumably they are licensing it. The copyright law sets heavy penalties for unlicensed use. There is no "online magazine" exception.
