Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York

re: art dealer. Wow, thanks for beating me up on this when it's the other side that has not acted in good faith. I needed a simple answer to a simple question -- do I or do I not have a legal right to know what the painting sold for? Do I or do I not have a legal right to a correct bill of sale that states the real buyer and the real sale amount? Does the new owner have the right to lie, yes LIE, about the provenance of the painting and get away with it?
