Internet Poker/Gambling in New York State
Is internet poker/gambling illegal in NY? I've read articles proclaiming that internet gambling is illegal in NY, but the state gambling consolidation laws do not explicitly say internet poker/gambling is banned. Does the law (if their even is a law), apply only to internet websites (companies), rather than the everyday player?

Generally such sites and such business' are illegal in NY, however many companies register as offshore corporations as a potential avenue for conducting such a business...
