Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

I live in Argentina and I called the American police (FBI and NYPD) through Talk Free, an Iphone program to call for free to American mobiles appearing random numbers in the Caller ID to file a false report against a Colombian living in the suburbs of NYC who broke with me when I was planning to move there so as revenge I told the Police he was living and working illegally (which is true) but I lied adding that I read in a mail by accident in his computer that he was related to Al Qaeda and was planning an attack in the Empire State and also that he was a drug dealer. Obviously I said to the officer that I was a neighbour of him and gave a false name and number. So finally the police took his passport and computer arguing that sb was using his IP address (as an excuse probably for the inconsistency of the complaint cuz the police might called back to the reporter and no answer) and now I'm worried if they, considering that we're talking abt terrorism and part of the story is true, go deeper and make to hear to the Colombian the recordings of my reports and he recognizes my voice and tell the police my identity. Can sth happen to me being in Argentina? Can the American police reach me here? What are the crimes besides filing a false reports? I must admit that I'm really sorry for what I did and I continue in touch to the Colombian to keep knowing the details. He doesnt suspect of my but if in the end he listens to the recordings I'm dead! Thank u so much for ur help! I really appreciate it and I'm not a bad person, just commited a huge mistake which Im really remurseful

They can not get you. The American government has no jurisdiction over you.
