I have been charged with Class A Misdemeanor petit larcney. What could be the consiquences of this.

It depends what type of record you have, if you have no record a lawyer should be able to get it reduced to a Disorderly conduct or ACOD (Adjournment in contemplation of Dismissal) plus restitution if any

For a conviction the max is 1 year in jail. Other possible sentences INCLUDE PROBATION OR A SPLIT JAIL/PROBATION.Most likely there will be some sort of plea bargain which depending on your prior criminal history could result in much less severe consequences.
