Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I kept getting spam emails from a company for 3 years now after asking them to stop and unsubscribing many times . Today I get another automated email from them so I sent a bunch of nasty emails back to what I thought was a spam bot this was not a direct conversation . Anyway one said just the word die and another said I hope they choke . I got a call from police saying I can be arrested and have to go to the station after work . . I didn't think I was threatening anybody it was a spam bot !!

Do not speak to the police about the case. Hopefully you can pull up the spam emails you have been receiving. Hire a good criminal defense lawyer. Dismissal may be possible. I handle criminal defense.
