Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York

The settlement I won states that I should get paid within 45 days of the execution of an Order After Stipulation by Commissioner of the Division. My question is what constitutes 45 days? Do weekends count?

Yes. Weekends count, but if the 45th day falls on a weekend or holiday, they would get until the next business day to pay. Realistically, however, don't be too surprised if they pay late. Just stay on top of it and let them know you will go back to the Division if they are a week or so beyond the deadline.
