I got a DWI in NY and then a DWI in NJ a couple of days later. NY is my home state. The DWI in NY is a first offense misdeanor. What happens when the NJ DWI is reported to NY? Will the NJ DWI become a 2nd Offense felony when it is reported to NY? Do I get called back to court in NY?
