childs educational rights
I live in nassau county new york. my son just turned 17 years old. he is having behavioral problems in school. Can the school kick him out?

Re: childs educational rights Possibly, unless the behavior is caused by his handicapping condition.
Under state law, he has the right to remain in school until he graduates or reaches age 21.
However, dangerous behavior can be grounds for suspension and expulsion.
