NYS Part 83 Moral Character

Generally speaking, after a moral

character complaint is made

concerning a teacher, what is the

average time period for the NYS

Education Department to investigate

and decide whether or not to file

formal charges under Part 83?

Most of the time, they take their own sweet time in investigating the issues. Unless, of course it is of a serious nature, which they investigate right away, and come to a conclusion, sometimes the wrong one.
