Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Changing Visitation Schedule

A agreement has been in place for two years. My child is 2.5 years old and under the current agreement Visitation time builds up slowly. However, the build up is too slow and the child is does not get the benefit of his father or have enough time to bond.

Re: Changing Visitation Schedule

You may always file a petition in Family Court to modify visitation. However, I would suggest speaking to the other parent before a petition is filed.
