Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Modification of Restriction

How do you go about lifting a restriction that has been put in place for child visitation? The current restriction is 40 miles and that needs to be raised.

Re: Modification of Restriction

Ask you lawyer to renegotiate the radius clause.

If that fails, you have to file in the appropriate court (Family Court or Supremem Court) to modify the visitation provisions.

If you wish to discuss this further, please give me a call. I would need to see the Judgment, etc.

I practice in NYC and Long Island.
