what are my rights

I have been with a man for 28 years we have 9 propertys in his and my names I would like to get out of this. and take what is mine

I am a man too

Is the property a tenancy in common or by the entirety?

You may be able to move to partition the property.

Because you and your partner are of the same sex, the properties must be owned as tenants in common. If your partner refuses to sell, you can force the sale by partition, and then either through a realtor or through an auction. In almost 40 years of practicing, I have never seen it go by auction. After the action is started cooler heads prevail.

However, once you have decided to end the business relationship, you should act fast to avoid problems..
