Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York
Burglarized, parties convicted in NYC, damages sustained. Is the statue of limitation still 3 years even though it was a crime? The time is close & these elusive criminals can't be reached to be served docs, how do I stop the tolling of time or is there a filing that can serve as a sort of freezing of the limitation as of the date of filing until docs are served? Help please...
