Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

What rights does a woman have if her boyfriend, who co-owns a house with her in New York, decided to leave and marry another girl, and move to Arizona and disregard his responsibilites? There are credit cards in both names as well, and she cosigned student loans for him. He says he is doing things like trying to refinance the loans, but nothing seems to be actually happening or going anywhere. He won't take her calls or respond to text messages.
