Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

Hello i'm helping a friend. He's trying to get a green card He's a 54 year old male who is married to a american for more then 20 years and have 2 kids who was born here in the states he worked in the states as a carpenter for many years off the books before he became ill and is no longer able to work he's in a wheelchair now and need help what do he do?

If he is here illegally (without authorized status) & is not married to a U.S. citizen, then he doesn't have many options.

In the Spring, the "DAPA" application will be available & he might be eligible for that. Refer to www.uscis.gov & search "DAPA" for more information.
