grievance meeting

can the company dictate to the union, the time and the place and the guidelines for grievance hearings? Or do we have the right to bargain these issues?

THE COMPANY CANNOT DICTATE ANYTHING TO THE UNION. THEY ARE EQUAL LEGAL PARTNERS IN THE BARGAINING PROCESS AND YES YOU CAN BARGAIN TIME AND PLACE FOR YOUR HEARINGS AND THAT SHOULD BE SPELT OUT IN UNION CONTRACT. IS THERE A REASON WHY YOU ARE INDEPENDENTLY PURSUING THIS ?
