Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I was laid off from work because of my relationship with my boss. It was a strictly platonic relationship but I was told my administrators did not like the loyalty/work relationship I had with him and they did not know what was happening within the office. I was also told that I did not get raises while other administrative assistants got them because of the stigma attached to me since they did not like him. The next day he was fired and I was next. I was also told that my time records were pulled to see if they could fire me, but saw nothing that held up. I was berated in front of co-workers, and had my job threatened several times. My work spoke for itself for 8 years and always had great evaluations along with great character references. Do I have a case???
