Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

if i told a lawyer i did not want him to handle my case because i was getting another attonery and he still proceeded and file in court what can i do about it to stop the case from going forward.

Your new lawyer will file the necessary documents with the court. If you do not have a lawyer, sned your old lawyer a letter advising him of your decision.
