Unresponsive Lawyer

Despite numerous emails and written communications, my lawyer has not responded to my questions on status of my case. What should I do?

You can do two things:

1. Find another attorney to take over your case.

2. File a complaint against the attorney. Go to http://www.nysba.org/Content/NavigationMenu/PublicResources/UnhappywithaNYAttorney/Unhappy_with_a_NY_At.htm to find out more about the steps to take.
