Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York

medical malpractice

I was a 40 year old high risk pregnancy due to risk of my uteris rupturing, I went to primary dr. with severe pain in my left side, they did an ultrasound and sent me home telling me to take milk of magnesia. Aprox. 1 week later after dealing with the pain for a week I went to emergency room. I was then sent to another hospital where they performed exploratory surgery( 1 being getting my daughter out, the other to find out what was wrong with me) I ended up having ruptured diverticulitis and diverticulosis. I now have a colostomy bag at 41 yrs old that I am trying to find a dr. to reverse, and noone wants to do it. So I am assuming it is permanent. Do I have a case? Thank you

Re: medical malpractice

I am terribly sorry for your horrible ordeal. It appears that you may have a medical malpractice claim that falls into the category of failure to diagnose claims. Failure to diagnose claims are fact sensitive and one of the various issues that arise in the difficulty surrounding these cases is the statute of limitations (the time you have to file a claim with the court). Often, time is of the essence in these instances. Do not delay in calling me, Pasquale Calcagno, Esq., for a free consultation at 1(800)WE-FIGHT. Worth looking into. Suggest you make an appointment with a personal injury lawyer experienced in medical malpractice. First step is to gather all medical records. Best, M. E. Zuller

Re: medical malpractice

it appears to me that there was negligence in the case. You should have been diagosed earlier, and perhaps the damages would not have been as severed.

If you would like to discus this case further, please feel free to contact me.
