Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York
My attorney settled a personal injury case with an insurance company and the agreement stipulated that the check for the settlement amount would be mailed within 7 days. It has been 3 weeks now and still no check.
What remedies can I seek to compell them to honor this agreement

7 days is unusual. The law gives them 21 days. If there is a written agreement your lawyer can enter a judgment.
