amendment to residental contract of sale

I have a contract for a piece of land in which it was found that the state had leins on it & the owner could'nt convey title. The sellers attorny made an amendment to the contract & i aggreed to it & signed it.

At the time of this signing i had no legal representation due to conflit between my attorny & sellers attorny

now he is using this amendment against me. In a residental contract of sale

for any amendments to that contract do you or dont you require legal representation at the time for it to become an amendment

Re: amendment to residental contract of sale

There is no legal requirement that you be represented by an attorney at the time a real estate contract is entered into.

Whenever you enter into any type of contract, you should at least have a lawyer look it over. You now see what trouble you can get yourself into.

Perhaps there are ways around it-even now.

If you would like to discuss the matter over with me please feel free to contact me.
