Is a comon law partner entitled to shre in property purchased by the other party? they have been in a relationship and lived together for over 2oyrs. He purchsed a house in which they live about 10 years ago in Ny state

New York does not have common law marriage, but if they ever stayed overnight in a hotel that recognizes Common Law Marriage, there might be a case. If there was a promise of support for life (the Lee Marvin Case) there might be a remedy. But it's a hard, uphill slog for the partner.
