Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

I have been divorced for almost 10 years. I left the house and my ex is or was living in the house. He was paying he mortgage but stopped. The house is in Suffolk county in NY. I was served with forclosure paper's. He lives in Florida now. I'm on the mortgage. Divorce decree says that I'm will be harmless for the mortgage. Now I have remarried and we have purchased a home in PA. Can my new home be in jeopardy if the courts put a money judgement against us? Or can the courts garnish one or both of our wages?

Thanks LJ
