Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
my ex husband was on my mortgage at the time of the divorce. during this time he paid no child support. nys child support attached liens to the property for the money he owes ME? i have since filed a quit claim deed yet the liens are still on the property. how do i get them released. i have been attempting to refinance for years and can't due to these liens - please help - the amount of back child support is 100,000 so i do no want to release him from his obligation
