Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

I am a Japanese National living in the US. Does anyone know if Partition Action is possible in Japan under Japanese Real Estate Law? I own 1/4 interest in land and the first two stories of a 3 story house in Japan that I inherited from my father. I live in the US; my siblings also live outside of Japan; my brother-in-law occupies the 3rd story. Thank you.
