Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

I own property across the street from people who claim I bought land that is indeed land locked. (I can't gain entrance to it). I have a survey from previous owners and a 6 month old survey that states I indeed own the land I thought i did. The people across the street call t police and the police indeed ask me to leave? Can they do that. I have a more recent survey. How can they legally tell me to leave my property?

The easiest thing to do is to file a complaint with the police department against the officers who told you to leave your land. This should put the other officers on notice not to bother you again. If this doesn't resolve it, you might have to file an action against the owners.

First, consult with an experienced real estate/property attorney in your county.
