Which 72-hour notice? Three day demand for the rent from the landlord? Or a marshall's notice of impending execution of the warrant to remove? In the first case, this is usually feasible; you will receive a petition and notice of petition; you go to court and file a pro forma answer; you come back to court a week later and work out a schedule to catch up on the rent.

In the second case, you need to reach out to organizations that can heklp prevent you from becoming homeless.

Good luck.
