Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York

I was just issued 3 traffic tickets. One was drivng with a suspended registration/revoked registration, a misdemeanor. One was for improper plates, an infraction. And one was for driving with no insurance, an infraction. I have a clean driving record and a valid drivers license. I am wondering what my options are, or what I might be facing? I am also looking for a way to argue a plea deal, like getting the misdemeanor dropped, and pleaing down the other two tickets to even less violations. I am currently on probation, but am awaiting an appeal. I do not want to violate my probation as well, and did not know just because I was charged with a traffic misdemeanor, if it is still criminal, or if traffic violations are separate. I did not intentionally cause this, but I know that in New York State, it is a matter of strict liability. I had no idea my insurance had lapsed, and therefore suspended my registration/plates. But I know this is not a defense. I would like to at least try to get the misdemeanor dropped, and I will pay whatever fines I have to. I just want to avoid getting into trouble as far as jail time and possible violation of my probation is concerned. It was a careless and stupid mistake on my behalf. I just do not want to incriminate myself any further, and I am not sure if I can afford another attorney at this moment in time, and I may have to fight this one myself. Any and all advice/comments/etc would be so very appreciated, as well as what I should do.

Everything depends upon what jurisdiction the tickets are returnable. In some there are plea bargain possibilities ,in others not really. I would be happy to discuss the specifics with you. Please contact my office @7188340087 for a free phone consultation.
