Changing executor

parents deceased passing estate to 3 surving children one of which is named executor. He may be acting improperly. What is the process to replace him?

You have to petition the Surrogate's Court to remove the executor. In the petition grounds (specific reasons) must be given as to why the executor is acting improperly.
