Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
My father's Will left trusts for my 3 adult children. Now his widow says that the trusts are meant to start for the kids when they turn 30, but the will says nothing about starting at age 30. What is the effect, if any, of this omission?

If the trustee is not following the dictates of the trust agreement a court proceeding to compel is required.
