How long is an adult child responsible for deceased parents medical and other bills?

Re: medical bills for deceased

They are not. If the parent is deceased then the deceased parent's estate is responsible for the bills. If there is no money in the estate, then there is no money to pay the bills. Of course, money from an estate pays bills first before distribution to beneficiaries.
