Legal Question in Disability Law in North Carolina

I have a disability that will not allow me to walk in a straight line (partial amputation of both feet) as well as an inner ear disorder caused by an antibiotic. A few months ago I went to WalMart and attempted to buy some snacks and one six pack of beer. Store security allowed me to wait in the checkout line until it was my turn to checkout at which time the cashier announced loudly enough for other customers to here that WalMart does not sell alcohol to anyone who is obviously intoxicated. I tried to explain my disability at which time I was asked for something in writing to prove my disability. I asked to see the store manager at which time more security was called. I further demanded to see the manager. When she finally showed up her position was that "it's securities call." This incident was highly embarrassing to me and I am still troubled by the incident. Is there any action I can take against WalMart?
