Legal Question in Construction Law in North Carolina

I hired a contractor to build my house I got 3 est with with the lowest bid but when the contractor finished the house he gave me another bill witch had a few thing he did not put in the contract so when I went to bank to get money they did not give me enough because he did not put it in contract I feel like he left it out so he would get the build and he also does not have a contractor license

If the cost of the job exceeds $30,000 and the contractor is unlicensed, he may not be entitled to recover any money for the job. In order to properly review your situation you will need to contact an attorney to provide further details such as the initial contract price, any written estimates and contracts between you and the contractor, and change orders or other modifications, etc.
