Legal Question in Consumer Law in North Carolina

If a vehicle has two titles in NC and one is declared invalid, does the invalid title have to be signed over to the owner of the valid title and if so, why

A vehicle can only have one title and that is most likely why one was invalidated. If it was Deemed invalid by the Court or the DMV then it has no effect and signing it is worthless.
