Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in North Carolina

I just received a judgement from Maryland garnishing my wages for some homeowners association. I have never lived in Maryland so they have obviously sued the wrong person. I never received any type of notice to come to court or anything. What should I do? Can I sue for the false judgement?

No. You will need a Maryland attorney to set aside the Maryland judgment and stop the wage garnishment. Do not delay. And if you live in NC, I don't see how your wages can be garnished because there is no wage garnishment here. Is your employer in Maryland or will they honor Maryland judgments and wage garnishment orders?
