convicted once assault on female misdemeanor 2010 only thing on my record havent got in trouble since does that condemn me for rest of my life from owning a gun is there anything i can do? please

It doesn't condemn you for the rest of your life from owning a gun it just condemns you for the rest of your life from 'legally' owning a gun. Go see a local attorney who can look into the details of your situation, there may be something that can be done but it is unlikely.
