Legal Question in DUI Law in North Carolina

Traffic Stop Check Points- DUI vs License & Registration

Where would I find a copy of the procedural law for the set up of traffic check points to be followed by police? What is the legal obligating difference between a dui check point and a license/regs. check point that police must adhere to? Where would I locate this information? The state is North Carolina. Thank you in advance.

NCGS 20-16.3A governs impaired driving checkpoints. The other questions are more complex. I'll be glad to discuss a specific case with you if that would help.
