Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

how can i get someone to help me?
i have a big problem gettin to see my son.i have been to court several times becuz she contempts court or lies and wins custody back..i am at this point 60,000.00 in debt to a lawyer and he will not represent me at this point,and she is again contemptin court..no one will listen to me unless i have a lawyer,and i am broke..i have to pay child support on top of everything else and everytime i get a job out of town to make the money i need she says my family cannot see him...they stated in the beginnin that they would break me and they have but i dont want to loose contact with my son becuz i cant get into court and fight with out a lawyer...i love my son,and want him to know me..he is only three..
please some one out there have a heart and help me with this.

You have several problems here. You mention "she keeps

getting custody back..." There is some

reason courts (plural) keep awarding her custody.

Your message seems to be asking for free lawyering

in a contested custody matter. I'll tell you what

you already know... a lawyer would have to be crazy to

get involved in a contested custody civil matter

without a fee. It may not be what you say you already promised someone else, but large.

In any event, the fact that you still owe means there is a payment

problem. I do not believe even legal services (Legal aid) would get

involved, but you could ask them. I hate to give negative responses to

people on this BBS, but you seem to be asking for

way more than just general advice.
